Set it up

Add your website

Signals needs your own website first. If it is missing, the card says Add your website first.

Open Competitors

Go to the Competitors page and find the Find new competitors card.

Turn it on

Switch Find new competitors on. It runs weekly.

What you get

The first check runs the search and saves what it finds as a starting point; it sends nothing. Competitors you already track are excluded from the search. From the next weekly check on, each company that looks like a new competitor becomes one signal. In the signal you see the company name, a one-line description, its website, a relevance score from 1 to 10 and the reason it was suggested.

In your webhook

Each company is one event with eventType: "competitor". The full key list is on New competitor events. A webhook gets one POST per check (a run webhook) and reads these events from its pages.

The excerpt below is a sample with the exact shape. It was built from the event types, not from a live check.
