Using the app
Projects
Group competitors and sources by product, region or team. Create, rename and delete projects.
A project holds its own competitors, trackers, Feed and Slack channel. Use one per product, region or team. There is no limit on how many you create.
Each card shows the name, Current on the open project (only when you have more than one), the number of competitors and sources, and the created date. A project with no competitors shows No competitors yet · Add one →. Click a card to open it.
Create a project
A new organization has no projects. Feed, Competitors and Trackers stay locked until you create one.
Open the dialog
Name it
Create
Errors you can see: Enter a name., Use 60 characters or fewer., A project with this name already exists.
Settings
Open a card's menu (Actions for …) and choose Settings. You can rename the project and pick its Slack channel.
Switch projects
The breadcrumb has a project switcher (Switch project). Switching keeps you on the same page. If you were on a competitor detail, you go back to the Competitors list. Manage projects opens the Projects page.
Delete a project
Choose Delete in the card menu. The dialog says: Stops N sources. Past signals are hidden from the feed, the API and webhooks. Type the project name to confirm, then click Delete project.
- The delete is soft. Trackers stop and stop costing credits.
- Signals of the project disappear from the Feed, the API and webhooks.
- A webhook that filters on the project shows a Deleted project pill and matches nothing.
- If it is your only project, create a new one afterwards to keep tracking.
Who can change projects
Only org admins and managers can create, rename or delete projects. Other members see Only org admins and managers can create, rename or delete projects. If the org has none yet, they see Ask an org admin or manager to create the first project.
