Tick LinkedIn

On What should we watch at …?, tick LinkedIn.

Paste the links

In LinkedIn pages and people, paste one full link at a time and press Enter:

  • Company page: https://www.linkedin.com/company/hubspot/
  • Person: https://www.linkedin.com/in/name/

You can add up to 25 links. The first company page is the competitor's main page. Click × on a chip to remove a link.

Edit LinkedIn for HubSpot
The edit sheet lists each added page or person as a chip. Here: the company page.

Posts by other people

This tracker follows posts by the pages and people you add. To catch posts by others that talk about the competitor, use LinkedIn mentions.

What you get

The first check saves the current posts as a starting point. From the next check on, each new post becomes one signal.

In the signal you see:

  • the author, post text and media
  • likes, comments and shares
  • Why it matters and a confidence level
  • Open post to read it on LinkedIn

In your webhook

Each post is one event with eventType: "social_post". The full key list is on Social post events. A webhook gets one POST per check (a run webhook) and reads these events from its pages.

The excerpt below is a sample with the exact shape. It was built from the event types, not from a live check.
