Not sent by webhook or Slack

LinkedIn engagement is never sent by webhook or Slack, and it does not appear in the in-app feed. You read it in two places: the People tab of the competitor page, and the pull API.

Set it up

Add the competitor

Go to Feed or Trackers and click Add competitor. Enter the website, for example pipedrive.com, and click Continue.

Tick LinkedIn engagement

On What should we watch at …?, tick LinkedIn engagement.

Add the company page

In LinkedIn company page, paste the full link, like https://www.linkedin.com/company/hubspot/. Use How to find the LinkedIn company page if you need help.

Choose posts per check

In Posts per check, choose 5, 10, 25 or 50. Each post is 1 credit per check, so 25 posts cost 25 credits.

Pick how often and start

Choose Daily or Weekly and click Start tracking.

What you get

Open a competitor and open its People tab. It lists the people who reacted to or commented on the company's newest posts, one entry per person per post. Each entry shows the person's photo (initials when LinkedIn sends none), their name linked to their LinkedIn profile, their headline, and whether they reacted or commented. The first check already lists people; there is no silent starting point for this tracker.

In the pull API

Engagement events have the type engagement.new or engagement.updated, with the source linkedin_engagement. Read them with the pull API. The detail has the person's name, headline, profileUrl and imageUrl (their photo, null or missing when LinkedIn sends none; photo links expire after a few weeks).
